Jam Polypropylene Company was initially registered as a Private Joint Stock Company on October 18, 2004, with the Tehran Companies Registration Office under registration number 232248.
Subsequently, on June 15, 2014, the company was registered with the Kangan County Deeds and Properties Registration Office under registration number 1869.

Pursuant to the resolution of the Extraordinary General Assembly dated January 20, 2019, the company’s legal status was changed from Private Joint Stock Company to Public Joint Stock Company.
Based on letter No. 9280/15 dated April 22, 2019, issued by the Central Securities Depository of Iran, Jam Polypropylene Company (Public Joint Stock Company) was listed as the 531st listed company in the Chemical Products Section of the Basic Chemicals Group on the Second Market of the Tehran Stock Exchange, under the ticker symbol “Jam Pilen”.
The initial public offering (IPO) of 10 percent of the company’s shares was carried out on June 16, 2019.

The Company’s mission, in accordance with Article 3 of the Articles of Association, is to engage in the construction, commissioning, operation, production, sale, and conversion of all petrochemical and chemical materials, as well as their related products and derivatives.

1. Achieving first place in annual production volume among polypropylene producers in Iran, with a historic record of 278,480 tons;

2. Capturing a 36% share of Iran’s polypropylene market in 2019;

3. Setting a historic record in specific energy consumption, achieving 27% lower energy usage compared to Iran’s benchmark energy consumption standard;

4. Successful production of grade RPX230C, suitable for hot and cold pipe applications;

5. Receiving the Silver Trophy of the National Green Industry Award and a Certificate of Appreciation at the 21st National Conference of Green Industrial and Service Units.
