In 2011, the Council of Ministers transferred the assets of Tabriz Power Plant, valued at IRR 6,101 billion, to the Civil Servants Retirement Fund (64%) and the Social Security Organization (36%) as settlement of outstanding liabilities.
Saba Niroo Atiyeh Company was established as a Private Joint Stock Company on December 29, 2014, and was registered under registration number 465738 with the Tehran Companies Registration Office. Subsequently, on August 19, 2015, the power plant was officially handed over to Saba Niroo Atiyeh Company, acting as the duly authorized representative of the owners.

According to the Articles of Association, the Company’s mission is the generation and sale of electrical energy, as well as investment in and participation in the construction and acquisition of power plants.
