The company Saba Foolad Khalij Fars (formerly Isar Pars Steel Company) was registered at the Tehran Companies Registration Office under No. 235853, dated 2004/12/04.
Company management until 2008/11/15, based on the decision of the shareholders at that time, was handled by Indian managers focusing on technology selection and feasibility studies, during which no significant executive activities were carried out.
Subsequently, on 2009/01/25, the management of the company was transferred to the Civil Servants Pension Fund Investment Company, and the name of the company was changed to Saba Foolad Khalij Fars.

Gulf Persian Saba Steel Company has focused its activities on constructing a steel complex with a final capacity of 5 million tons of pellet, 4.5 million tons of sponge iron, and 4.5 million tons of steel, including casting lines for bloom, billet, and beam blank, as well as rolling mills for rebar, beams, and steel sheets, located in the Special Economic Zone for Mineral and Metal Industries of the Persian Gulf, 13 km west of Bandar Abbas, in Hormozgan Province.

The Saba Foolad Khalij Fars complex is located in this region with the purpose of accessing port, rail, and road facilities, mineral unloading and loading equipment, and the availability of energy resources including water, electricity, and gas, as well as proximity to the Gol Gohar iron ore mines — which, in addition to iron ore and iron ore concentrate, are also major producers of pellets.
